FORECLOSURE SPECIALIST / TAX SALE COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of foreclosure transactions ensuring that each foreclosure follows a strict process pipeline and timeline, defined by law, from beginning to final resolution.  This includes management and payment of transactional expenses, legal counsel communication, client communication, client billing and pipeline management.
Reviews queue status daily to ensure timelines/milestones are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with legal and client requirements.
Proactively identifies and resolves issues that hinder performance.
Provides prompt quality service to all clients, customers and business partners.
Adheres to departmental, local, state and federal compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Ensures performance meets or exceeds industry standards in addition to reviewing and understanding the foreclosure timelines and related documents.
Organizes quarterly Delinquent Tax Property Auctions for the City of Richmond and periodic auctions for other municipalities.
Develops a close working relationship within Motley’s divisions and be able to promote a high level of service.

Qualifications:

Excellent understanding of the foreclosure processes and documentation.
Previous bankruptcy, mortgage servicing, real estate or law firm experience.
Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and working with databases.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
Ability to analyze problems and make decisions with minimum supervision.Honesty and integrity.
Self-starter, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
