Equipment and Truck Inventory Specialist - Part-time

Motleys Industrial, a division of Motleys Asset Disposition Group, a Richmond, VA based company is seeking an Equipment and Truck Inventory Specialist to assist with the organization and movement of construction equipment and heavy trucks for our new Roanoke location. The ideal candidate for this position works well under pressure and is eager to get things done in a timely manner. This is currently a part-time position that may turn into full-time.

Responsibilities:

Take accurate inventory of consigned assets entering the yard.
Use iPad to take photos of consigned assets entering the yard.
Provide detailed descriptions of assets.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance on a variety of diesel and gasoline trucks and equipment.
Travel off site to inspect/photograph inventory and load out.
Off-load customer assets safely to assigned selling spot.
Maintain appearance of the yard.

Requirements:

Must be able to operate various types of light, medium and heavy-duty equipment and trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
Ability to independently perform minor repairs and maintenance on a variety of diesel and gasoline trucks and equipment.
Have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
Possess high level of integrity and dependability.
Be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Etc.)
Climb on and off equipment and trucks frequently.
Work outdoors year around and in inclement weather.
Must be detail oriented, follow instructions, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Occasionally work weekends prior to an auction.
